September has proven to be a busy month for Spaces, with – count ’em! – 11 new openings spanning the globe from Vancouver in the West to Bangkok in the East. Join us on a design-driven whirlwind world tour through our most exciting Spaces.
BC coworking, baby
In Canada, Spaces Vancouver is celebrating two new venues, with Granville and Mount Pleasant both opening this month. Located downtown, Spaces Granville is at the heart of the startup scene and surrounded by a creative community that will surely get the ideas flowing. Spaces Mount Pleasant, set smack-bang in the city’s new arts and tech district, offers a ready-made business hub where the opportunities are limited only by your imagination.
In the ‘garden city’ of Victoria, Spaces Uptown Vic is a mixed-use development that caters to corporates and creatives alike – and where the surrounding greenery is an open invitation for a daily stroll.
Expanding in the USA
In the US, Chicago welcomes Spaces River North, which opens in an iconic building downtown. Set right in the middle of the city’s tech scene in an artistic neighbourhood, this place comes with inspiration included – and the skyline views from the rooftop terrace aren’t bad either.
At San Francisco’s Spaces Oyster Point, it’s impossible not to be seduced by the bay views and the excitement that comes from being a part of Silicon Valley North – the largest concentration of biotech companies on earth. (Did we mention San Fran International is a six-minute drive away?)
Down in Houston, Spaces CityCentre One is a welcome addition to the Texan city’s coworking scene. Set over five floors of a premium and well-planned commercial development, breezy plazas and green areas abound, and the proximity to nature provides a great reason to get out and about for a woodland wander.
Lastly, it’s over to Miami and Spaces The Wynwood Cube. One of the city’s coolest districts, Wynwood is where you’ll find a bustling artistic community and one-of-a-kind restaurants that put the chains to shame. Located right next to Miami Central Station, it’s the perfect fit.
Europe’s historical cities
We continue to Europe, where Spaces Euratlantique has already opened its doors in downtown Bordeaux with seven floors of office space, plus private roof terraces and patios. This being France, a choice of bistros isn’t far away and the central location makes for an easy commute.
On to Spaces Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg, which overlooks the famous Alexanderplatz, is set to open in October: expect to find a creative crowd enjoying the views from the exclusive rooftop terrace.
In Prague, Spaces Albatros occupies the site of the Velvet Revolution and continues that theme with its radically chic interpretation of the way we work today. Opening in October and straddling New Town and Old Town, it’s at the heart of history with an eye on the future.
Booming business in Bangkok
Finally (phew), we head to Asia and the East’s most cosmopolitan megacity: Bangkok. The Thai capital’s having a moment right now, with art and commerce converging from all corners of the region to create an atmosphere that’s alive with possibility. At Spaces Bangkok’s Phahon 19, which opens in the desirable neighbourhood of Chatuchak in October, expect to see a reflection of that in your fellow members. Add in the option of an al fresco lunch in Rod Fai Park, seven floors of designer shops in nearby Central Plaza Ladprao and excellent transport links (there’s plenty of parking), and you’re good to go.
Wherever you are in the world, Spaces is about beautifully finished offices designed to fit seamlessly into the local community while providing everything you need to get the job done. From meeting room to fixed office, or a desk and a nook to plug in and power up, there’s always an option to suit. It’s the new way to work. Find your workspace right here.
