TEDxAmsterdam & Spaces teamed up to present Marc de Hond , Jacqueline Hamelink, and Sezer Karaoğlu, three distinguished TEDxAmsterdam speakers who will shared their stories and experiences from the social heart of Spaces Vijzelstraat.
Spaces Co-founder Martijn Roordink welcomed guests in the business club, and TEDxAmsterdam Program Coordinator, Monique van Dusseldorp, presented the concept of the evening’s event.
Marc de Hond shared his powerful message that every person has the extraordinary power to adapt to extreme situations, in both body and mind. People often praise him for being so strong in accepting this fate, but Marc believes that this is not an exceptional power that belongs only to exceptional people. He believes that everyone has the strength to do exceptional things. What you need are three things: a spark of optimism, time and effort, and the support of others.
